It’s that time of year again – count down to when the Kerikeri Half Marathon hits town! That means if you are a beginner or improver this is the perfect opportunity to get those trainers on. The Kerikeri Half is mainly downhill so a Personal Best is always on the cards.
Join us on Saturday mornings 8.00, Stone Store basin car park – Landing Road side for a 5k or 8k run or walk along the Falls track. We are a friendly bunch of runners of all abilities, from walkers to ultra-runners. There is always someone to help you along or give you a bit of competition.

The Northland Waste Kerikeri Half Marathon is on Saturday, 21 November 2020 and is an iconic feature on the Northland events calendar. Starting in Okaihau the 21.1km course makes its way through a rolling country side to finish in the centre of town at the Kerikeri Domain.
Stick around for the Kerikeri Street Party where you can sample wonderful food, wine and many other local specialties or just dance the evening away
There are many training plans on line, this one is good for beginners

Please ensure that you follow the usual clubroom hygiene routines; wiping down equipment before and after use. Thank you for your patience – let’s get back to enjoying the great facilities.

The Kerikeri Striders Multi Sports Committee has decided that the clubroom will NOT be re-opening under Alert Level 2. The Club takes the responsibility of the health & safety of all our members very seriously and sincerely regrets that it is not possible to re-open at this stage. The decision was not taken lightly but primarily because the clubroom is unmanned and unsupervised at all times. For this reason it is not possible to control and manage either the number of people using the facility or ensure that all surfaces are sufficiently clean and sanitized at all times ready for members use.
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this time and we will keep members informed as to the re-opening date as soon as it is finalised.
Kia Kaha, be safe, be kind
